Limbur (Uzbekistan)

Limbur ( Linbur, Lenbur ) is a village in the Sokh district of the Fergana region of Uzbekistan on the territory of the Sokh exclave. The population of 3,500 people: Tajik 99%, Uzbeks 0.2%, Kyrgyz 0.8%. The population is engaged in subsidiary agriculture (growing potatoes, rice, fruit), cattle breeding is developed. It borders on the village of Apkan (in Tajik Obkand) of the Kadamzhai district of the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan. One of the oldest villages in Sokh district.
