Rudolf Hrushka ( Italian: Rudolf Hruska ; July 2, 1915, Vienna - December 4, 1995, Turin ) is an Austrian automobile designer and engineer known for his work on the design of various Alfa Romeo cars .

Biography
After graduating from Vienna Technical University, Rudolf Hrushka worked at many German companies. He worked for Magirus in Ulm from 1935-1938 and at Porsche in Stuttgart in 1938-1945, where he took part in the development of the Kdf-Wagen car (1939) and the Tiger tank (1943).
In 1945, Rudolf Hrushka, together with Carlo Abarth, opened a Porsche dealership in Merano . A little later, with the support of Pierrot Dusio , the Cisitalia racing project in Turin was founded in 1946-1949.
After this project, Hrushka settled in Finmeccanica , where he advised the Alfa Romeo 1900 project in 1951-1954. At Alfa Romeo (1954-59), the engineer assisted Orazio Satte Pulige on the design of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta before the designer moved to Simca and Fiat in 1960-1967. Hrushka worked at these companies on the Simca 1000 and Fiat 124 / Fiat 128 .
A little later, Rudolf Hrushka again returned to Alfa Romeo to develop Alfa Romeo Alfasud and create a new automobile plant in Pomigliano d'Arco near Naples in 1967-1973.
After the project at Alfa Romeo, he worked in the design studio in Arese in 1974-1980. And only after that he got a job at the I.DE.A Institute in Turin , where he worked until the end of his life. [one]
