In 1991, the schooner was recognized as a US National Historic Site . [one]
From the moment of construction in 1916 until 1943, the schooner was used as a coastal merchant ship.
The schooner was restored in 1989.
Currently, it is a tourist ship with a capacity of up to 29 passengers, making 3-4 day cruises. [2]
