Biography
Hill Raj Regmi was born in May 1949 in the Palpa area. In the capital of the country, Kathmandu, he graduated from the university and became a lawyer. In May 2011, he replaced the current president as President of the Supreme Court of Nepal. [1] The United Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) proposed it as a compromise candidate who could lead the Council of Ministers before the new elections to the Constituent Assembly. On March 14, 2013, Nepal’s president, Ram Baran Yadav, appointed him interim head of government [2] . Elections in the country are scheduled for June 2013. Then they were moved to autumn. This appointment caused discontent among the Maoists [3] , who have the largest faction in the Constituent Assembly of the country.
On February 10, the leader of the Nepalese Congress, Sushil Koirala, was elected the new Prime Minister of Nepal [4] .
