(404) Arsinoe ( dr. Greek Ἀρσινόη ) is the asteroid of the main belt , which belongs to the dark spectral class C. It was discovered on June 20, 1895 by the French astronomer Auguste Charlotte at the Nice Observatory and named after Arsinoe , the nurse of Orestes in ancient Greek mythology [3] .
