The distance to Tomsk is about 60 kilometers. The village stands on the banks of the Omutnaya River, in the very east of the Tomsk Region, near the border with the Kemerovo Region .

Social and Economics
There is a feldsher-midwife station in Romanovka [8] . The nearest school and kindergarten are located in the village of Novorozhdestvensky .
Heat supply services are provided by East Investment Gas Company CJSC. The main area of employment is agriculture in private subsidiary plots.
