The hydrological characteristic in the mouth part: width 11 m, depth 0.8 m, rocky soil, flow velocity 0.7 m / s. The valley in the lower and middle reaches is swampy in some places.
The relief in the Tulomi basin is mid-mountain, intensely dissected. The river valleys are narrow, V-shaped, and only trapezoidal in the lower reaches. The slopes are steep, the ridges of the watersheds are narrow. Only in places along the watershed from the river. Buli and p. Nemta there are domed peaks and relatively wide dividing ridges.
