Chiridopsis bowringii (lat.) Is a species of shield beetle bugs ( Cassidini ) from the leaf beetle family [2] . South and Southeast Asia : Burma , Vietnam , China , Laos , Nepal . The body is oval, flattened, yellowish-sand in color with black spots on the dorsal side of the body. The head is not visible from above, as it is covered by a pronotum. A herbivorous group, feed on plants of various species, including those from the Convolvulaceae family : Ipomoea sp. [3] [4] [5] [6] .
