Chiridopsis aubei (lat.) Is a species of shield beetle beetles ( Cassidini ) from the leaf beetle family [2] . Africa (Angola, Benin, Zaire, Zambia, Cameroon, Kenya, Congo, Liberia, Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia, South Africa). The body is oval, flattened, yellowish-sand in color with black stripes on the dorsal side of the body. The head is not visible from above, as it is covered by a pronotum. A herbivorous group, feed on plants of various species, including those from the Convolvulaceae family : Ipomoea involucrata [3] [4] .
