Television in Turkmenistan

Television has been operating in Turkmenistan for over 50 years. Television is the most popular type of media in Turkmenistan. History

Until 1992

By the early 1980s The USSR State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company began broadcasting TV channels I and II in the Turkmen SSR, and the State Committee of the Turkmen SSR - the Turkmen TV channel (also known as Turkmen television ).

1992 - 1998
