Marie Marguerite Vargas-Irauskin was born on October 21, 1983 in Caracas ( Venezuela ) in the family of Victor Jose Vargas-Irauskin and Carmen Leonor Santaella Tellriya. Marie has a sister, Maria Victoria d'Agostino Casado, and her brother, Victor José Vargas-Irauskin Jr., has died.
Since November 5, 2004, Marie has been married to Luis Alfonso, Duke of Anjou (born 1974). The spouses have three children: daughter Eugenia, Princess de Bourbon (born 05/05/2007) [1] and twin sons - Louis, Duke of Burgundy and Alfons, Duke of Berria (born 28.05.2010).
