Biography
Russian, spoke Italian, in the RKKF since 1918, in the CPSU (b) since 1939. In 1905 he graduated from the Marine Technical School in Kronstadt. In 1902–1912 he served on the ships of the Baltic Fleet: the watch officer of the cruiser “ Russia ” (1905–1906), the hold mechanic of the training vessel “ Nikolaev ” (1906–1907), the junior mechanic of the cruiser “ Admiral Makarov ” during its construction in Toulon (1907) —1908), the ship’s mechanic of the destroyer “ Retivy ” (1908-1909), then returned to its previous appointment by the hold mechanic on the training vessel “Nikolaev” (1909-1912). Since 1912, he supervised the manufacture of torpedoes commissioned by the Russian Maritime Department at the Robert Whitehead factory in Fiume in Austria-Hungary . In 1914-1917, a mine receiver at the Obukhov plant in Petrograd . In 1918-1920, the mine receiver and assistant chief of the mine department of the Technical Department of the Marine Department. Head of the mine cabinet (1920-1922), associate (1922-1923), teacher (1922-1930), head of the mine and torpedo department (1930-1931), assistant to the head of the faculty of naval weapons (1931-1935), head of the torpedo department weapons (1935-1943) of the mine-torpedo faculty of the Naval Academy. At the same time, in 1920-1928 he taught at the Special Courses of the Navy command staff, worked in the mine department of the Scientific and Technical Committee and at the Mine and Torpedo Research Institute ( NIMTI ).
