Gulls
Gullies are a characteristic feature of some latitudes of Mars . As a rule, they are found on the walls of craters or other hollows, but the Nereid mountains have ravines in some areas. Gullies usually occur on steep slopes, especially on the slopes of craters.
Scientists believe that the ravines on the Nereid mountains are relatively young, as they contain few craters, which mainly lie on top of the sand dunes.
