Dmitriev, Yuri Albertovich

Born in a family of engineers. After graduating in 1980 from the historical faculty of Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. IN AND. Lenin worked in senior positions in secondary schools in Moscow, taught history and social studies courses.

After graduating in 1988 with honors from the All-Union Correspondence Law Institute, he began working in it. In 1991, after completing extramural postgraduate studies at the Moscow Law Institute, on the job he defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of legal sciences on the topic “Legal support of freedom of manifestation in a rule of law state”. In 1995, he defended his thesis in the form of a scientific report for the degree of Doctor of Law on the theme "The concept of democracy in modern Russia (state and legal problems of theory and practice)."

In 1997, he was confirmed as a professor in the Department of Constitutional and Municipal Law of the Moscow State Law Academy. In 2006, he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Education.

• 2009—2016 - Head of the Department of Civil Law of the Russian New University.

He was the author, co-author and scientific editor of textbooks, manuals, commentaries and scientific publications on training courses in the theory of state and law, constitutional, municipal, administrative, informational, entrepreneurial and other branches of law, the above-mentioned special courses. He prepared and published over 300 scientific papers. Among them, 20 monographs and 32 textbooks and teaching aids, three of them were awarded the stamp of UMO for legal education.

Editor-in-chief of the independent popular science journal "Law and Life", member of the editorial board of the journal "On Elections" of the CEC of the Russian Federation, member of the editorial board of the journal "Problems of Russian Federalism". Member of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation. Under his leadership, 13 doctoral and 43 master's theses were defended
