Obake no q-taro

Obake no Q-Taro ( Japanese オ バ ケ の Q (キ ュ ー) 太郎 Obake no Kyu: -taro:) is a Fujiko Fujio manga about an obake named Kyutaro who lives with the Ohara family. Manga began to be published by Shogakukan in Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine and was produced from 1964 to 1973 . A total of 6 volumes of manga. Based on the work, 3 anime series were released: the first black and white in 1965 , the second and third in 1971 and 1985 , as well as 2 short films in 1986 and 1987 .

Content

Story

Obake is a small and harmless obake (demon), similar in appearance to a duckling, who likes to fly, scaring passers-by, but he is terribly afraid of dogs. He begins to live in the Ohara family and is friends with a boy named Seta, together they will end up in funny situations and solve problems.

Character List

Kyu-Taro ( Jap. Q 太郎 ) - The protagonist of the story, obake . He likes to scare people, but he is afraid of dogs. Despite its nature, it cannot change appearance.

Shёto Ohara ( 原 大 原 正 太 ) - Friend of Kyutaro. Man and student of elementary grades. Kyutaro calls him Kyo-chan ( Japanese 正 ち ゃ ん ) , and Seta calls Kyutaro Kyu-chan ( Japanese Q ち ゃ ん ) .

Shinichi Ohara ( 大 原 伸 一 ) is the older brother of Shёta.

U-ko ( Jap. U 子 ) - Judo is practiced , like Kyutaro, she is an obake and meets with him.

Dorompa ( ド ロ ン パ ) - Obake, originally from America. In a rival relationship with Kyutaro, since Uko worships him for his mind, which annoys Kyutaro.

Pi-ko ( Jap. P 子 ) - The younger sister of Kyutaro.

O-jiro ( Jap. O 次郎 ) - The younger brother of Kytaro. Although he understands speech, he can only speak the word bakeratta. Only Kyutaro understands what Ojiro is saying.

Ekkusu-zo ( Jap. X 蔵 ) - Father Kyutaro, Otaro and Odziro.

O-zetto ( お Z ) - Mother of Kyutaro, Otaro and Odziro.

Tsuyoshi Saigo ( 西 郷 強 ) - Has the nickname Godzilla . A classmate of Seth and the badass.

Seiyu: Kaneta Kimotsuki (1965/1971), Hiroshi Takemura (1985)

Professor ( ハ カ セ ' Hakase' ) is a classmate of Shёta and the smartest in the class.

Seiyu: Sumiko Shirakawa (1971), Kaneta Kimotsuki (1985)

Kizao Kiza Kiza ( 木 佐 キ ザ オ ) is a rich classmate of Seta who assents Godzilla.

Seiyu: Kazuko Sawada (1971), Naoki Tatsuta (1985)

Yoshiko Koizumi ( 泉 泉 ち ち ゃ ん ) is a classmate of Shёta, known as “Yottyan” (( っ ち ゃ ん ) .

  • Toy Obake is depicted on a desk in volume 16 of the 20th Century Boys manga.
  • Pac-Man character creator Toru Ivatani said that for character creation, he was inspired by characters from Obake no Q-Taro . [one]
