Biangular coordinates - a coordinate system on a plane with two fixed pointsCone {\ displaystyle C_ {1}} C_ {1} andC2 {\ displaystyle C_ {2}} C_ {2} in which point positionP {\ displaystyle P} P not lying on a straight lineConeC2¯ {\ displaystyle {\ overline {C_ {1} C_ {2}}}} {\ displaystyle {\ overline {C_ {1} C_ {2}}}} given by two angles:∠PConeC2 {\ displaystyle \ angle PC_ {1} C_ {2}} {\ displaystyle \ angle PC_ {1} C_ {2}} and∠PC2Cone {\ displaystyle \ angle PC_ {2} C_ {1}} {\ displaystyle \ angle PC_ {2} C_ {1}} .

In some sources they are called bipolar coordinates [1] .
