Petrus Josephus (Pete) Zutmulder (01/29/1906, Utrecht , the Netherlands - 07/08/1995) is a Dutch Indonesian philologist, an expert in the Old Javanese language and Javanese literature , a compiler of the Old Javanese-English dictionary, a member of the Jesuit Order.

Biography
Born in a Catholic family in the city of Utrecht . During his secondary education he showed an interest in the career of a priest. Since 1925, was associated with the Order of the Jesuits . Through the Jesuits was sent to the Dutch East Indies . He studied at Intermediate Seminary in Jakyakarta. Having mastered the language he returned to Holland and continued his studies at Leiden University . After the outbreak of World War II, he returned to Indonesia. With the arrival of the Japanese captured. After the war, he continued his academic career at Gadjah Mada University .
Buried in Jakyakarta .
