Biography
Born in 1911 in the village of Lamonovo, Nizhnekolosovsky district, Omsk region, in a peasant family. He began his career in January 1930 at the age of 19. From October 1933 to November 1936 he served in the Soviet Army. Arriving in the city of Osinniki and receiving factory training, he got a job at the Kapitalnaya mine, where he worked from December 1937 until January 1962 as a slaughterer , foreman and assistant to the head of the site.
From 1939 to 1951 he was the foreman of the Komsomol-youth brigade. The glory about the high productivity and labor heroism of the brigade was known not only in Kuzbass , but throughout the country. The difficult years of World War II belong to this period.
In 1945, following the results of the first quarter, this team took first place in the All-Union Socialist Competition. No difficulties prevented Mikhail Semenovich from organizing the work so that the team gave 1.5-2 standards for many years. His first team in the mine began to mine coal in lava according to the cyclic schedule.
Having retired in May 1961, after 35 years of work at mining site No. 6, M. Plotsky continued to actively participate in the public life of the mine collective. He was a welcome guest in schools and libraries.

Awards and titles
