Geographical position
The area is located in the southeastern part of the island of Hirvensalo , on the coast of the Archipelago Sea and also includes the small island of Iso-Vihtil .
Population
The area is among the sparsely populated parts of Turku. In 2004, the population of the region was only 23 people, of which children under 15 years old - 13.04%, and over 65 years old - 13.04%. Finnish was spoken as a mother tongue by 100% of the district’s population. According to 2007 data, 295 people lived in the district.
