Reginald McKenna (1863-1943) is a British politician and member of the Liberal Party , Minister for Governments Henry Campbell-Bannerman and Herbert Henry Asquith . In 1895, he was elected to the House of Commons as representative of East (East Wales ; re-elected three more times).

In 1907, he became chairman of the Board of Education . In 1908-1911 he was the first lord of the Admiralty . From 1911 to 1915 he was Minister of the Interior , and from 1915-1916, Chancellor of the Treasury . He opposed compulsory conscription.
Mackenna died in London on September 6, 1943.
