Biography
Fedor Izhederov was born on July 17, 1922 in the village of Rysaykino (now the Pokhvistnevsky district of the Samara region ), in a Chuvash family. Since 1927, he lived with his family in Primorsky Krai . After graduating from four classes of school he worked as a painter. In July 1941, Izhederov was called up to serve in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . He graduated from the Vladivostok Infantry School (now the Far Eastern Higher Military Command School ) [1] , then in 1942 - courses for junior lieutenants. Since August of the same year - on the fronts of the Great Patriotic War. He took part in battles on the Voronezh , Central , 1st and 4th Ukrainian fronts, was wounded five times. He participated in the battles of Voronezh , the Battle of Kursk , the liberation of the Ukrainian SSR , the battle for the Dnieper . By July 1944, Guards Lieutenant Fedor Izhederov commanded a platoon of the 320th Guards Rifle Regiment of the 129th Guards Rifle Division of the 1st Guards Army of the 1st Ukrainian Front. Distinguished himself during the liberation of the Ternopil region of the Ukrainian SSR [1] .
On July 15, 1944, in the area of the village of Yarchovtsy in the Zborovsky district of Izhederov, he replaced the company commander who was out of action. Under his leadership, she repulsed several German counterattacks, on July 17, the first in the regiment crossed the Strypa River , knocked out the enemy from the trenches he occupied and seized the bridge [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated March 24, 1945, Lieutenant Fyodor Izhederov was awarded the Guarantor of the Hero of the Soviet Union awarding the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star " number 2732 [1] .
In May 1946, Izhederov with the rank of captain was transferred to the reserve. He lived in the city of Pokhvistnevo, Kuibyshev region, worked as a joiner at a furniture factory. He died on April 13, 1988, and was buried in his native village [1] .
He was also awarded the Order of the Patriotic War , 1st degree and the Red Star , along with a number of medals [1] .
