Geography
The city is located in the southwestern part of Haryana, near the administrative border with the state of Rajasthan , at an altitude of 297 meters above sea level [1] . Narnaul is located approximately 295 kilometers south-south-west (SSW) from Chandigarh , the state administrative center and 105 kilometers south-west from New Delhi , the capital of the country.
Demographics
According to the official census of 2001, the population of the city was 62,091 people, of whom men made up 53.21%, women - respectively 46.79%. The adult literacy rate was 67.82%. The literacy rate among men was 76.15%, among women 58.38%. 14.4% of the population were children under 6 years of age [2] .

Narnaula communicates with other cities in India by rail and road. The nearest airport located in the city of Patiala [1] .
