On February 26, 2006, the song won in the βBest Songβ category at the NME Awards ceremony [2] .
The B-side "Chun-Li's Spinning Bird Kick" was nominated in the category "Best Instrumental Rock Performance" at the 49th Grammy Ceremony [3] .
Music video
The clip is a recording of a group performing in a studio with a small number of listeners. The video was filmed using TV cameras from the 1970s to give the effect of "antiquity". A similar clip was shot by The Strokes for the single βLast Nite,β and Arctic Monkeys are known to be fans of The Strokes.
