The village is located beyond the Arctic Circle , on the left bank of the Bolshaya Chukochya River , 165 km north-west of the ulus center of the village of Chersky , the distance to the center of the village of Pokhodsk is 120 km to the southeast.
By January 1, 2001, the population of the village was 3 people, but they were not taken into account by the census [2] .
There are several buildings in the village. A wind farm is functioning [3] .
