Big Aksu ( Kazakh. .Lken Aқsu ) is a village in the Uygur district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of Aksu rural district. It is located about 20 km south-southeast (SSE) from the village of Chunja , the administrative center of the district, at an altitude of 1327 meters above sea level [1] . The KATO code is 196635100 [2] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 3251 people (1610 men and 1641 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 3534 people lived in the village (1754 men and 1780 women) [3] .
