War Cemetery No. 119 - Stashkuvka ( Polish. Cmentarz wojenny nr 119 - Staszkówka ) is a military cemetery located in the center of the village of Stashkivka , Lesser Poland Voivodeship , Poland . The cemetery is part of the group of the Western Galician war graves of the First World War . The military personnel of the Russian army who died on May 2, 1915 during the First World War are buried in the cemetery. Protected monument of Malopolska province .
Content
History
The cemetery was founded by the Department of military burials of K. and K. of the military commander's office in Krakow in 1915. The cemetery was designed by sculptor Jan Shchepkovsky . On the cemetery with an area of 781 square meters there are 29 communal and 17 individual graves, in which 516 Russian soldiers of 123 Kozlovsky and 124 Voronezh infantry regiments are buried.
On January 24, 1996, the military cemetery was entered in the register of monuments of the Małopolska Voivodeship (No. A - 793).
