Mosque
The complex “ Bibi-Heybat Mosque ” is located in Bibi-Eybat . In the second half of the 13th century, the Shirvans of Abu l Fath Farrukhzad built a mosque, which was completely destroyed by the Bolsheviks in 1936 [3] . In the late 1990s, the mosque was recreated again. The existing complex now includes a mosque and tombs of revered people and is one of the significant monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan .
Deposit
Near the village of Bibi-Eybat there is the oil and gas condensate field of the same name . Until the middle of the 19th century, oil was extracted from wells, and as early as July 14, 1848 (according to other sources, in 1846 [4] ), the world's first oil well was drilled in Bibi Heybat by a percussion method using wooden bars. Here, on the specially created platform, the first sea well in the former USSR was drilled. A number of oils from this field do not contain solid paraffins and can be used for the production of lubricating oils [5] .
