Biography

Amir Shagaleevich Musin was born on July 5, 1937 in the village of Lower Sazovo of the Kugarchinsky district of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

Education - secondary specialized, in 1957 he graduated from the Ufa Petroleum College.

He began to work in 1957 at the Ufa Oil Refinery as the operator of the primary oil refining unit. In 1957-1960 he served in the ranks of the Soviet Army. Since 1960, he worked as an operator, and since 1963, he was a senior operator of the fuel production workshop No. 1 of the Ufa Oil Refinery named after the XXII Congress of the CPSU.

The acquired practical experience allowed A. Sh. Musin to become the initiator of the reconstruction of the installation, contributing to an increase in its capacity by 30 percent, due to which the gross output increased by 16 million rubles a year, the initiator of the increase in the overhaul run of the AVT installations to 1 year 5 months, which is higher than the normative for 6 months. Only in 1976-1980 did this reduce downtime by 2 months and gave a total savings of 500 thousand rubles.

The best practices of A. Sh. Musin and his brigade were widely distributed at all facilities of the plant and production association. The team of the brigade A. Sh. Musin completed the five-year plan (1976-1980) for labor productivity for three years and eight months, the four-year plan of the tenth five-year plan ahead of schedule - by December 2, 1979. Above the plan, 66.8 thousand tons of oil were refined, 34 thousand rubles were saved in energy resources, reagents and fuel.

A. Sh. Musin shared his rich experience with great desire and skill to his work colleagues. For four years of the tenth five-year period, he trained the profession of operator 14 young workers.

For outstanding achievements in achieving the highest indicators in fulfilling social obligations for the over-planned production of petrochemical products, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 13, 1980 A. Sh. Musin was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.

From 1984 until reaching a well-deserved vacation in 1997, he worked as the chief, senior operator of the Ufa refinery.

Honored Oilman of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1977).

Musin Amir Shagaleevich lived in Ufa. He died on November 27, 2017 at the 81st year of his life [1] .
