Content
History
The ancient city of Ea (today - Tripoli ) was located in the Roman province of Tripolitania and until the 6th century was the center of the eponymous diocese, which was part of the Carthage Metropolis.
The Diocese of Ea is mentioned in the historical work Notitia Episcopatuum . At the end of the 5th century, the diocese of Ea ceased to exist.
The diocese of Ea is currently the titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church.
