Club
Maman Traore began his career as a professional football player at Circle Olympic Club from his hometown . In 2005, the midfielder moved to the French club Nice . He made his debut on April 30, 2006 in a League 1 match against Ajaccio [2] . On August 16, 2008, in a match with Nancy , Traore scored the first goal for the club from the Cote d'Azur , which turned out to be the winner of the match [3] .
The Malian football player spent the 2010/11 and 2011/12 seasons in League 2 , where he played for the Mets on loan. He played the first match for the Mets on November 26, 2010 (with the Sedan ) [4] . In the third match for the club, the midfielder hit the gates of Florian Baghe from Boulogne [5] . As part of Metz, Maman Traore scored 7 goals in 41 matches played in various tournaments and returned to Nice at the end of the 2011/12 season.
