“Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio” or “ORE” is a band from Sweden, performing music in the genres of neo-folk and martial-industrial . Founded by Thomas Pettersson in 1993 and still exists today.

Biography
In 1993, after the collapse of the previous group of Thomas Pettersson Archon Satani, he decided to start a new project, which was originally called “Ordo Equilibrio” . He was joined by his then-girlfriend Chelsea Crook .
In 2001 there were changes in the composition: Chelsea Cruc left, and her place was taken by Rose-Marie Larsen . Also in the group name was added the word Rosarius .
Style
The musical style of the band was described as “apocalyptic folk”, a subgenre of neo-folk . The name Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio is translated from Latin as "Order of the Rose and Balance."
In his grim lyrics, Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio combines seemingly incompatible things, such as “creation and destruction, dark and light, joys and sorrows, sex and war”, often using Christian symbols. Occultism and Gnosticism largely constitute the themes of the group. BDSM themes were also often used in the early years.
The music uses a wide range of instruments, including acoustic guitars, drums and pianos.
