Ki mit tud? (“Who knows what?”) - An annual show of young talents, held on Hungarian television in the 1960-1990s, usually on New Year's Eve . The stage of the show was traditionally framed in the form of train cars, which participants had to get into. Each train carriage was one of the pop genres: songs, dances, poems, tricks, parodies, etc. The jury evaluated the performances of the participants by the sum of the points. If the sum of the points of the new applicant was greater than the sum of the points of the participant who was already in the car, the latter left his car.
In Hungary, the show "Ki mit tud?" was truly popular. So, in 1965, a total of almost 30 thousand participants prepared for the show about 8 thousand numbers, which, before reaching the finals of the competition, competed among themselves in 96 district and 31 city tournaments for a year.
