She became the first woman admitted to the Faculty of Architecture at the Paris National Graduate School of Fine Arts in Paris , and the first woman to be licensed as an architect in California. Author of architectural designs for over 700 buildings in California .
The most famous project she worked on from 1919 to 1947 is Hearst Castle .
