Biography

Valdemar Esteves da Cuna was born in the port town of Santos in Brazil on August 9, 1920. For many years he worked for a family company.

In 1950, after the Dorothea Don marathon on the beach in Santos, he was elected King of Momo .

He was Momo Santos until 1990 and until his death was the oldest King of Momo in Brazil. In 1957, due to his illness, Rei Momo was elected Eduardo from Rio de Janeiro . After 1957, he was Momo until 1990.

Upon retiring, Waldemar lived in Santos with his wife and four sons and six nephews [2] ; [3]
