Suleymanov participated in the 2007 World Cup , where he took 19th place. At the 2008 European Championship, Suleimanov takes 4th place. In 2009, he became vice-champion of Europe. In the same year, Suleymanov took 6th place at the World Championships . At the 2010 European Championship, Suleymanov took third place. However, a prohibited drug was discovered in his blood, and Zulfugar Suleymanov was disqualified for 3 years [1] .
