Ulba ( Kazakh. Үlbi ) is a village in the East Kazakhstan region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the city administration of Ridder . Until 2013, it was the administrative center of the abolished Ulba village administration [1] . The KATO code is 632431100 [2] .

In 1999, the population of the village was 5670 people (2693 men and 2977 women) [3] . According to the 2009 census , 5332 people (2560 men and 2772 women) lived in the village [3] .
