Macropus titan is an extinct species from the genus of gigantic kangaroos of the kangaroo family , whose fossil remains were found in New South Wales in Australia , in Pleistocene sediments [1] .

Some modern taxonomists consider Macropus titan a subspecies of the existing giant kangaroo ( Macropus giganteus titan ).
