Novogorsk volost is an administrative-territorial unit within the Yelabuga district of the Vyatka province , and since 1921 - the Mozhginsky district of the Votsky Autonomous Region . It was abolished in 1924, the territory of the volost became part of the Grakhov and Alnash volosts [1] .

The volost government was located in the village of Novogorskoye .
History
Novogorskaya volost was formed approximately in 1910. [2]
In 1916, the volost was part of the second camp of the county and included 7 rural societies , 19 villages, 2908 yards. 2810 males and 2838 females lived in the volost. [3]
In 1921, in connection with the formation of Votskaya Autonomous Okrug , in the northern part of the abolished Yelabuga Uyezd , Mozhginsky Uyezd was formed, which includes, among others, Novogorsk Volost. The volost was abolished in 1924, its village councils became part of the Grakhov and Alnash volosts. [one]
