About the album
Protivo Gunz was digitally uploaded to iTunes and Yandex.Music [1] . At the same time, the album immediately fell to 5th place on the iTunes chart [2] .
The album came out on a physical medium in a limited edition of 24 copies, and the physical medium is not a CD, but a compact cassette [3] .
The release of Protivo Gunz is dedicated to the decade since the beginning of the creative activity of the Noize MC project [4] , which was headed by Ivan Alekseev. In 2003, Alekseev formed the Protivo Gunz group, which included students of the Russian State Humanitarian University [5] . It was in the hostel of the university that the first demos of songs were made, which later became part of the Noize MC repertoire.
The main birthday present for ourselves and our fans is Noize MC's new album, entitled “Protivo Gunz”. The name of the record is explained by its track list. Most of the list is songs from the time of the hostel and stuffy little clubs, re-recorded live, as well as several strong new tracks.
