Feature
The music of the album is somewhat related to the early experimental sound nightmares and dynamics of Tangerine Dream and at the same time is completely different. Fricke synthesizers are more focused on pulsation and cycling, without shock and shock. Music flows as a single work, despite its division into several separate compositions. In addition to one piece with a drum playing, the album could be a fantastic soundtrack to the film by Andrei Tarkovsky " Solaris ". The title track closing the album includes spatial electronic soundscapes that go deep into the key, taped choral vocals and whispering in the background and percussion, becoming one of the brightest works of Kraut Rock . The successful debut of the group, which miraculously holds in the XXI century [1] .
This album differs from the group’s more well-known subsequent albums, such as Hosianna Mantra, which are dominated by acoustic pianos. Here, Fricke shows that he had no problems with synthesizers. It is a pity that he stopped using synthesizers, later returned to them only once on In den Gärten Pharaos , and then his immersion in religion (Christianity and Hinduism) in a strange way made him hate synthesizers and turn to the piano. As for this album, all fans of experimental electronic music will surely enjoy it. .
