Biography
Teresa Penelope Raines (Terry's name at birth) was born July 20, 1964 in Eugene ( Oregon , USA ), becoming the youngest of three daughters in a family of businessmen, Clarence and Judy Raines.
While working in the family business in 1986 , she became a member of the animal rehabilitation center called Cougar Country.
Career
She joined the emergency veterinary hospital in 1989 as a veterinary technician to gain additional knowledge on the care and support of all types of animals.
In 1991, she went on a tour of Australia to rehabilitate wildlife, where she met her future husband.
In 2007-2008, Terry appeared in two issues of The Ellen DeGeneres Show .
Personal life
In 1992-2006, Terry was married to natural scientist Steve Irwin (1962-2006) [1] . The couple had two children - the daughter of Bindi Sue Irwin (born July 24, 1998) and son Robert Clarence Irwin (born January 12, 2003).
