It is part of the Minkovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Minkovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of the village named after Babushkin is 26 km, to the center of the Minkovo municipality - 2 km. The nearest settlements are Flax Mill , Demyantsevo , Minkovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 39 people (20 men, 19 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [2] .
Ivan Vasilievich Babkin (1914-1961) was born in the village of Grozino (1914-1961) - a veteran of the Great Patriotic War , gun commander of the 328th guards fighter-anti-tank artillery regiment of the 9th guards fighter-anti-tank artillery brigade of the 47th army of the Voronezh Front , Hero of the Soviet Union [3 ] . The house in which he lived is an architectural monument [4] .
