There is an opinion that the program is an adapted Russian clone of the popular British sketch series “ Little Britain ”, aired on the BBC channel from 2003 to 2006 [2] . However, on February 4, 2007, on the air of Ekho Moskvy radio station, Alexander Dulerain and Semyon Slepakov categorically rejected these rumors and stated that Our Russia was an original project [3] . Some phrases from it became winged, and heroes became “symbols” (for example, Ravshan and Dzhamshut became symbols of migrant workers ) [4] .

Feature film “ Our Russia. Eggs of Fate ”was released in Russian hire on January 21, 2010. A trial release of the new season 5 of the series was shown on December 31, 2010. The official premiere took place on March 13, 2011.

Cities and storylines

In the transmission there are several storylines. Their presence and meaning may vary from series to series. For example, the story about the “Krasnodar boys” was originally based on their purchase of condoms (season 1), then the scene was moved to a nightclub where they are trying to get there (season 2), then they tried to buy porn films , put on girls, walk past your parents, being high (season 3), have sex with girls having a rest in Anapa (season 4), meet Muscovites (season 5).

Season 1

Ravshan and Jamshut

Moscow , Sochi .

Two guest workers from Central Asia Ravshan (Mikhail Galustyan) and Dzhamshut ( Valery Magdyash ) are doing repairs under the supervision of their superintendent Leonid (Sergey Svetlakov).

They made repairs and built:

  • in a new building (seasons 1,2),
  • in the apartment of Ksenia Sobchak (season 3),
  • in the Olympic Village in Sochi (season 4).

The plot of each series is based on the fact that the superintendent scolds migrant workers for poor repair, or for the fact that in his process they ruined the things of the owners of the apartment. They speak Russian poorly: if Ravshan understands it with difficulty, Jamshut does not understand it at all, therefore, he is mainly silent, but speaks only his native language. The characters of the series became so popular that their names became common nouns. So, the characteristic of development by the leading specialist of the direction Sergey Polonsky on the question of construction in the first half of 2008 was as follows:

“I still do not realize this. I do not do construction work. Look guys, this is all complete nonsense! I am putting people into a team, finding goals, setting tasks, together with the team we are looking for solutions and implementing projects, and building it would be if I painted the walls and managed the Ravshans and Dzhamshuts ... ”

According to Mikhail Galustyan from the release of “The Big Difference ” of October 23, 2008, Ravshan and Jamshut do not belong to any nation, but came from Central Asia. At the same time, in the series itself there are references to Tajikistan as their homeland.

The spelling of the names of guest workers in various official publications is different. For example, there are options “ Rafshan ” and “ Rovshan ”, “ Dzhumshut ”, “ Dzhamshud ” and “ Dzhumshud ” (on the TNT website they are called Rovshan and Dzhumshut).

Seasons: 1-4 (episodes 1-57), film

Ludwig Aristarkhovich

Saint Petersburg Fontanka . House of exemplary content.

Concierge Ludwig Aristarkhovich (Mikhail Galustyan) constantly taunts tenants (he especially likes to pump somewhere, for example, under the doors of tenants or in an elevator, in the same series, under the doors of Professor Zvyagintsev). The main objects of the "dirty deeds" of the concierge are the annoying professor Lev Moiseevich Zvyagintsev (Sergey Svetlakov) and the rich young beauty Lilya (Yana "Yanina" Romanova), whom Ludwig Aristarkhovich unsuccessfully gives attention. Favorite phrase: “ And who-who-who-who-did-it ??? ". There are references to the criminal past, he was in prison (in one of the series he mentioned this, saying that he would not return there).

The humor of these stories is based on selfish motivations and lies. In addition, these stories are partly an example of the so-called toilet humor . The traditional stereotype of St. Petersburg as a cultural capital is also ridiculed.

Seasons: 1 (episodes 1-8), 3 (39)

Sergey Yuryevich Belyakov

Taganrog . Viewer Sergey Yuryevich Belyakov (Sergey Svetlakov) comments on TV shows or just talks to the TV . A collective image of a man with primitive tastes, a cattle-naive lumpen. Sometimes different people (the whole family) come to visit them, for example: Julia’s wife (Julia Sules), son or boys.

The name and patronymic coincide with the name and patronymic of Sergei Svetlakov. His other hero, deputy Yuri Venediktovich Pronin, was named after his father, who is also called Yuri Venediktovich [5] .

Seasons: 1–5 (episodes 1–78), film

FC GazMyas and GazMyasochka

Omsk The forever losing football club GazMyas and its sadist coach Evgeny (Gennady) Mikhailovich Kishelsky (Mikhail Galustyan). After the club flies out of 4 football divisions, it is accepted into the women's championship under the name "GasMyasochka", and the players dress up as women. The sketch was a mockery of Russian football, but after 3 seasons it was no longer shown: amid the success of the Russian national team at EURO 2008 (3rd place, bronze medals), Gazmyas was deemed irrelevant, although it appears at the end of the 4th season screensaver [6 ] .

Seasons 1-3 (episodes 1-3)

Mamonov and Pronin

Nefteskvazhinsk (fictional city).

Deputies Yuri Venediktovich Pronin (Sergey Svetlakov) and Viktor Kharitonovich Mamonov (Mikhail Galustyan) think luxuriously and dearly about voters, but only in words, but in reality they have quite the opposite. In the last series of season 4, it turned out that they and the ruble bums are the same people.

The humor shown here is a political satire . Sergei Svetlakov, who plays the Rublev homeless Siphon, lives on Rublevka himself [7] . The surname of Mamonov comes from the phrase - "to serve not to God, but to mammon."

Seasons 1 (2.4 series), 3 (22–31, 34, 38), 4 (41–57)

Ivan Dulin and Mikhalych

Chelyabinsk (in several episodes of the 3 seasons - Chelyabinsk region , boarding house "Emerald").

The world's first non-traditional milling maker Ivan Dulin, who became gay after a business trip to Moscow (Sergey Svetlakov), suffers from an unrequited love for his workshop head Viktor Mikhailovich Oreshkin or simply Mikhalych (Mikhail Galustyan). They are often caught in an ambiguous awkward situation deputy. Mikhalycha Gennady Palych (Boris Estrin), workers Yegorych and Dmitrich (Fedor Kuzadkov and Ion Arakelu) or the boss himself kicks Dulin out of his office to work in his workshop. In one of the episodes, it turns out that Dulin is married and has children, but his wife, after learning of his love for Mikhalych, abandons him. From season 4, Ivan Dulin was appointed head of the workshop, and Mikhalych demoted to a milling machine operator. In the final series of season 4, Mikhalych was reinstated as the head of the workshop, and Ivan Dulin was promoted to the director of the plant.

At the beginning of each episode, the phrase “ Chelyabinsk men are so harsh that ... ”, followed by some ridiculous and absurd fact associated with an exaggeration of someone’s abilities [8] . This phrase gave rise to a number of similar jokes, mentioned not only in Our Russia [9] , but also at the level of super-heroes.

In Chelyabinsk there is no pipe foundry, there is only a pipe rolling plant , it is called the Chelyabinsk pipe rolling plant - "ChTPZ", it was he who was mentioned in the first series. Red panties appeared on sale in Chelyabinsk’s stores with phrases embroidered on them from stories about Mikhalych and Dulin: “ You are a handsome man, Mikhalych ,” “ I tied it up with homosexuals, ” “ Come on, Vanyatka, jam ” and others. [10] [11 ] [11 ] ] .

Seasons: 1-4 (episodes 1-57), film

Slavik and Dimon

Krasnodar , Anapa , Moscow.

In various scenes, teenagers Slavik (Sergey Svetlakov) and Dimon (Mikhail Galustyan), spending leisure time, try:

  • buy condoms (season 1);
  • face control in the most fashionable club of the city (season 2);
  • breaking into the club, “ stir up with the girls ” (season 2, end of season 3);
  • buy a pornographic DVD , and in the second half of the season again “stir up with the girls” (season 3);
  • go intoxicated or play the PlayStation to Dimon (season 3);
  • Get to know the girls in the resort (season 4);
  • get to know the cool Moscow “chiks” (season 5).

Each time Dimon is afraid or hesitant to take a decisive step (" Slavik, I’ll give a damn! Think, give a ride? "), But Slavik encourages him (" Yes, calm down, I say that! I already did that a hundred times! " ) But as a result, each of their attempts ends unsuccessfully, because of which Slavik accuses Dimon of all “sins” (“ Well, you loshara! ”) (In one of the episodes it was the opposite - Dimon accused Slavik of drinking four cans of beer, and spit on the guard). Dimon has a mother (Valentina Grishonova). In the first half of season 3, they managed to buy a pornographic DVD. At the end of season 4, they nevertheless achieved their goal and were “muddied with the girls”, and at the end of season 5, even with Zhanna Friske .

In the screensaver of Krasnodar, the Sinegorye shopping center, which is actually located on the forecourt in Chelyabinsk, was removed as a night club.

Seasons: 1–5 (episodes 1–78), film

The hard life of a very poor family of the traffic police inspector, police lieutenant Nikolai Laptev (Sergey Svetlakov), who never takes a bribe. In the full-length movie, you can see how he does it (but he tested it only on the oligarch, who considered him bad).

Seasons: 2 (episodes 9–20), film

Anastasia Kuznetsova

Ivanovo Anastasia Kuznetsova (Mikhail Galustyan), a sushi- bar waitress “Belaya Iva”, is trying to find a man for herself, while dealing with clients' companions.

Seasons: 2 (episodes 9-19), film

Season 3

Snezhana Denisovna

Voronezh . The teacher of the prestigious school Snezhana Denisovna (Sergey Svetlakov) extorts money from unsuspecting students and their parents for their own needs. She takes bribes in large quantities, is not against taking something from her students.

Seasons: 3, 4 (episodes 21–57), film

Siphon and Beard

Ruble . Spoiled homeless people Siphon (Sergey Svetlakov) and Beard (Mikhail Galustyan) delve into garbage dumps, picking up things thrown out by the oligarchs . The siphon constantly calls the oligarchs “ assholes ”, the Beard sometimes speaks with couplets; favorite phrase: " Garage-bends ." Sometimes a homeless person comes to visit them from the Kazan station Kolyan (Valery Magdyash).

At the end of the fourth season, a sketch is shown in which they become deputies Mamonov and Pronin.

Seasons: 3, 4 (episodes 21–57), film

Season 4

Zhorik Vartanov and Rudik

Pyatigorsk . The local news presenter on Sev-Kav TV, Zhorik Vartanov (Mikhail Galustyan) goes live every day, where he talks very emotionally about various events in Pyatigorsk, constantly engaging in a skirmish with cameraman Rudik (Garik Martirosyan, only his left is visible in the frame arm). Very often he and Rudik use the word “ Vasya ” (the distorted form of the name Vasya), and the distorted form of the word “in general” (“ Uvasche ”) in speech.

Humor is based on mimicking the lifestyle of the inhabitants of the regions of the North Caucasus , their social behavior, manner of dressing and speaking, and also makes fun of the use of thieves' jargon by famous actors and stars of show business.

Seasons: 4, 5 (series 40–78)

Season 5

Dronov and Ermolkina

Ust- Kuzminsk (a fictional city: the screensaver features a view of Yekaterinburg , but a detailed map of Krasnoyarsk hangs on the wall in the major’s office). Police major Yegor Sergeyevich Dronov (Mikhail Galustyan) and insightful operative, junior lieutenant Elena Ermolkina (Sergey Svetlakov) are fighting crime in their hometown. Moreover, Dronov constantly teaches the inexperienced Elena "the correct disclosure of cases ", although this is only an excess of authority, since the perpetrators are influential people. Dronov always “coughs” at the mention of a familiar surname and the place of work of its owner.

Each time, Dronov upsets Yermolkina, but if she is upset, he reassures her with the words " Yes, calm down, you are still young, inexperienced ."

Humor is based on the police paying great attention to petty crimes and "excusing" influential people and their relatives. So, at the beginning of each sketch about them, Dronov beats a criminal who broke something.

Seasons: 5 (episodes 58–68, 78)

Gene and Vova

Kemer ( Turkey ), hotel "Amara Dolce Vita HV-1". Gena (Sergey Svetlakov) and Vovan (Mikhail Galustyan) from Nizhny Tagil come off in full with their Japanese-made camcorder on holiday in Turkey. At the same time, they behave extremely cheekily: they drink, spoil the property of the hotel, relieve the need for a swimming pool, make fun of the staff and visitors of the Turkish hotel. Gene constantly swears, and the hotel staff calls "slaves." Vova in each series is in a state of extreme intoxication and says only one phrase: “ Tagi-and-il! "(In one of the episodes of season 5 he says:" Victory! "). Sometimes after this word Gena adds: “ Tagil rules! Tagil is ruining . ”

The humor of this storyline is based on the typical behavior of individual Russian tourists abroad.

Seasons: 5 (episodes 58–72, 75–77)

Philip Valentinovich and Anna Viktorovna

Novosibirsk Filipp Valentinovich (Sergey Svetlakov) and Anna Viktorovna (Lyudmila Knyazeva) are pensioners who gave 50 years of their life to work in a research institute . All problems are solved radically - with the help of a weapon, which most often acts as a double-barreled gun . They don’t talk at all, they are extremely aggressive towards strangers and current events.

The plot is based on satire on the disregard for people of retirement age, the sketch also contains black humor .

Seasons: 5 (episodes 58–74, 78)

Alexander Rodionovich Borodach

Ryazan . Alexander Rodionovich Borodach (Mikhail Galustyan) is a security guard who is constantly changing his place of work. Kartavit . He is constantly questioned by police lieutenant Anton Samoilov and police captain Vadim Vakhitov (Demis Karibidis and Arthur Kazberov).

A bearded man is a thief , a liar , a brawler , an alcoholic , a drug addict , a drug addict , a sexual pervert , all the time falling into criminal stories. He has a bunch of friends who also work in different places (among them there is “Irka Anikeeva from grocery”, which he unsuccessfully tries to give attention signs, and “ Armenian Armen from cheburechny”, who also gives attention signs to Irka, but neither he nor Irka personally do not appear).

He has a sister Elena Borodach, as well as brother Nicholas. He can’t work in any place for more than 3 days (however, he worked 4 days in one episode). He constantly uses his official position and finds himself in idiotic situations, often this happens because of women. At first, he tries to dissuade himself that he " doesn’t know, guys, " but in confirmation of his words he invents fables and " swears by hand ." Loves women with curvaceous. The sketch ends with the fact that Borodach is taken away somewhere, while he is again beaten. When asked by the police what to do with him, he almost always answers: “ Understand and forgive ”, and sometimes something adds to this, depending on the situation.

Seasons: 5 (episodes 58–78)

Valera and Vasya

Even chained in plaster, they remain implacable enemies and manage to mischief each other.

Football clubs are fictitious, but their emblems are a clear allusion to Spartak and Zenit , whose fans have hostile relationships.

Seasons: 5 (episodes 60–75)

Vadim Rudolfovich and His Patients

Moscow region . Doctor Vadim Rudolfovich (Sergey Svetlakov) has two patients in the same room: Anna Sergeyevna (Nelly Nevedina), who is being treated at the expense of the state, and Igor Anatolevich (Alexander Golubev), who is being treated for his money. Accordingly, he treats them differently. The character makes fun of the state’s attitude to medicine.

Seasons: 5 (episodes 62–77)

Criticism

In Literaturnaya Gazeta , in an article by A. Slepov of October 17, 2007, a critical opinion is given about a television program [12] :

 There is a question for the actors: doesn’t the same one feel, for example, Sergei Svetlakov - a person, probably with a conscience, that decent people should not do this, because our children and grandchildren live here in Russia. Well, it’s ugly to depict “customer service” in a police car in a humorous program, and in one of the most cynical forms. The apotheosis of transformation was the program of September 29, where instead of the holy policeman appears a second (in one program!) Story about a Chelyabinsk turner of non-traditional sexual orientation (as if one was not enough). The real Chelyabinsk workers, presumably, got an additional opportunity to grit their teeth and, without choosing expressions, evaluate the oh-so-very peculiar attitude of TNT towards them, especially since this time they are playing the role of perverts (albeit in the dream of the protagonist) all workers of the Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Plant. I wonder if any of the authors of the program know that it was the Chelyabinsk metallurgists, turners and assemblers that produced the T-34 tanks that saved our country during the war years.

The creators of the series are constantly accused of inciting ethnic hatred. Plots about Ravshan and Jamshut were removed from the show after the actions of Samvel Garibyan with the support of the Union of Armenians of Russia as xenophobic and insulting Russia, as well as the national dignity of the Tajik and Armenian peoples [13] [14] . In his opinion, insulting Tajiks by Armenians in Russia could lead to interracial conflicts. Garibyan said that he contacted Comedy Club Production general producer Arthur Janibekyan. He demanded to stop the production of these episodes and apologize to the Tajik people. Janibekyan refused. However, soon stories about Tajiks were removed from the air.

Due to the fact that the sitcom has multiple references to the Tajik language and culture (less often - Armenian), it has been repeatedly accused of direct racism and insulting Tajiks , in particular, the Tajik labor migrants public movement stated that the show and the full-length film the film commits “the moral genocide of the Tajik people ”, in particular, after a sketch with Ravshan and Dzhamshut came out on television, in fact, it was immediately banned from broadcasting on the territory of Tajikistan [15] . At the end of March 2010, the all-Russian public movement “Tajik Labor Migrants” sent an appeal to the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media with a request to stop broadcasting certain stories of the Our Russia program and selling discs with the film “Eggs” fate ”. Chairman of the Movement Karomat [16] . In 2007, in the article “ Our Russia is against us? "The journalist of the Tajik weekly Farazh commented:

 The program is entirely aimed at insulting and humiliating Tajik migrants. The first part of the program is devoted to the mockery and mockery of the life of Tajik labor migrants, where they are called "black chocks", "stupid" and other insulting expressions. They say that “there is a grain of truth in every joke,” and therefore it can be concluded that the creators of the program do not aim to improve the lives of migrants, but to implement the policy of Tajik xenophobia ” [17] .
