Tractor mower

Currently, there are dozens of varieties of tractor mowers, ranging from the most basic, to high-tech working bodies, electronically controlled and shockproof security systems.

Thus, tractor mowers are divided into the following categories:

• manipulator brushcutter mower (with rear, side or front boom placement)
• offset mower with horizontal rotor
• side disc mower
• universal mulcher
• mower for mowing road barriers
• loader frame mower
• mower conditioner

Manipulator brushcutter mower

Mounted brush cutter

Manipulator mower-brush cutter - designed to mow roadsides, with complex terrain. The horizontal grip of the mower reaches 12 meters. Modern brush-cutting mowers, mainly of European production (BOMFORD, FERRI, Spearhead, McConnel) are designed taking into account the most important technical developments, for example: a floating head (ensures repetition of the soil contour), electronic joystick control (allows you to perform the maximum range of manipulations of the mower's arrow and the cutting head itself ), an independent hydraulic system.

The external shape and internal structure of the hydraulic tank is designed and optimized for improved structured circulation of oil inside the tank, regardless of the type and viscosity of the oil.

Side Mower

Side mowers are divided into two types: disk and hammer with a horizontal rotor. Side mowers are used for mowing roadsides of local importance, mowing recreational areas, areas around water bodies, as well as for agricultural mowing of seeded grasses, including dead with the laying of the mowed mass in the resulting swath. In one pass, the displaced side mower captures up to 3.5 meters in width, when aggregating the tractor with two side and one front mower, the width of the passage increases to 9-12 meters. Mowers with a horizontal rotor equipped with hammer incisors are able to mow grass and shrubs with stem diameters up to 80 mm, this is achieved by using wear-resistant steel cutters that do not require frequent grinding.

Road mowing mower

One of the innovative developments of manufacturers of mowing equipment is a mower for barrier fencing. The principle of operation is to oblique the pillars of the “chippers” on two sides with two special cutting discs, which are equipped with barrier sensors that do not allow the cutting knives to touch the fence. Mowers of this kind are usually aggregated on the front mounted tractor system, and often work in tandem with the rear manipulator mower, which at the same time mows the curb behind the barrier fence.

Excavator mower

The mower on the excavator is aggregated using the mounting frame, which comes with the mower. The mower on the excavator consists of a working body with cutting chains, a hydraulic motor, a mower body with healed metal or rubber plates or chains to limit the radius of the mulch.

When choosing a mower, special attention is paid to the characteristics of the excavator, among which the most important indicators for the normal operation of the mower are highlighted: the mass of the excavator, the oil flow in the hydraulic system, the pressure in the hydraulic system.

Basic mower tractors

Depending on the type of drive, the working width of the mower head, the maximum reach of the mower boom, and the power consumption, the minimum necessary operating parameters of the base tractor are determined, for example:

• width of the base tractor;
• engine power;
• the presence of the output of the power take-off shaft to the front side of the tractor;
• the presence of counterweights on the tractor.

The most common mowers are the KHP 2.1 rotary mounted mower, it is aggregated with tractors of 0.9 - 1.4 t class, designed for mowing high-yielding and laid down grasses at translational speeds with laying the mowed mass in the swath.

In addition to the classic version of the mower based on an agricultural tractor, robotic mowers are gaining popularity, which are an unmanned power tool with an autonomous engine, and controlled by a worker from a mobile remote control.
