The stream at the beginning of the XIX century is enclosed in an underground collector [1] [2] . The hydronym of the stream has been known since the 14th century [3] . Probably, it is associated with the "gray", that is, the gray color of water. Perhaps the name of the watercourse came from the toponym of the ravine along which Sivka flowed [4] [5] [6] [7] .
The length of the river is approximately 800 meters. Sivka proceeded in a small ravine, which was located on the site of the Sivtsev Vrazhek lane. It flooded during floods, became turbulent, muddy. In the XVIII century, the ravine fell asleep. On the south side of the street a small ditch was left, along which the channel of the stream passed in the open stream. In the XIX century the river was canalized. The source is located east of Money Lane , the mouth is at the intersection of Sivtsev Vrazhek lane and Gogolevsky Boulevard . In the modern relief, the valley of the left tributary of the stream is 800 meters long [5] [8] [9] . It flowed along the Small Nikolopeskovsky lane and flowed into the river at the intersection with Starokonyushenny lane [10] .
