Streets - Central, School. Located near the Chemelovsky reservoir . In the 1970s, V. Vysotsky stayed in the village when there were filming for Belarusfilm.
The name “Chamyaly” most likely goes back to the Belarusian word “to bewitch” in the meaning of “variety of cloth made from camel or goat hair”. Residents of this locality may have specialized in the manufacture of this material.
