Biography
Nikolai Stepanovich Ginin was born on December 10, 1925 in the village of Tysyatskovo, Dobriansky District, Perm Territory. Education is incomplete secondary.
He began his career in 1942 as a locksmith in the Krasnokamsk assembly site “Permenergomontazh” after graduating from vocational school No. 13 of the city of Gubakh, Perm Region. In 1943-1946 worked as a locksmith in the Gubakh assembly site of the Uralenergomontazh trust. Since 1946, he worked as a foreman of fitters of the assembly section of the Uralenergomontazh trust at the construction of the Kizilovskaya, Yayvinskaya, Berezovskaya TPPs, Solikamsk and Nizhne Tagil TPPs. Since 1966 he worked as a foreman of fitters and installers of the Neftekamsk section of the Uralenergomontazh trust in the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.
The team, working on the construction of the Karmanovskaya TPP, on the installation of 300 thousand kilowatt-hour blocks, installed two gantry cranes with a lifting capacity of 30 tons each, one gantry crane with a lifting capacity of 50 tons at the assembly site, and two bridge cranes with a lifting capacity of 125 tons each in the boiler room. Since the beginning of the installation of the power plant equipment, the team has installed 185 units of mechanisms: onshore pump circular pumps, condensate pumps, turbine pump drain pumps, booster pumps, ejector lift pumps, power pump and other machinery of the machine room and the combined auxiliary building.
N. S. Ginin paid great attention to improving the qualifications of workers, increasing labor productivity, and saving labor costs. Over the years of the eighth five-year plan (1966-1970), the output per team member amounted to 53 698 rubles with a plan of 50 180 rubles.
The 1970 task for the development of one worker was completed ahead of schedule - by November 1, 1970, the annual implementation was 125-130 percent.
For outstanding success in fulfilling the tasks of the five-year plan by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 20, 1971, N. S. Ginin was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor.
The team of N. S. Ginin participated in the construction of the facilities of the Iriklinskaya TPP, the Bashselmash plant in Neftekamsk.
In 1985, he retired.
Honorary Citizen of Neftekamsk.
Ginin Nikolai Stepanovich died on August 15, 1999.

In Neftekamsk, a street was named after N. S. Ginin. A memorial plaque is installed on the house where the Hero lived.
