Kantari began his career at the Orleans Club Football School. At the age of 15, he moved to the Paris Saint-Germain football academy. In July 2005, he signed a full-fledged contract with the club. Ahmed was the captain of the reserve team of the Parisians in the 2005/05 season, but was not played for the main one.

In the summer of 2006, Kantari signed a 4-year contract with the Strasbourg club. After playing several matches for the team in the first half of the season, Ahmed stopped joining the lineup after joining Jean-Marc Furlan's coaching bridge. After Strasbourg entered the Premier League 1, Kantari was leased to Brest .

On August 1, 2008, in a match against Nim , Ahmed made his debut for a new team [1] . On August 8, in a duel against Clermont , he scored his first goal for Brest [2] . After the end of the lease, Brest management purchased the Kantari transfer. In the summer of 2010, after the team entered the major league, Ahmed extended his contract with the team. International Career

Kantari played for the youth team of Morocco and as part of it participated in two draws of the African Youth Cup in 2003 and 2005, and also as part of the national team participated in the World Championship among youth teams 2005 , where he was injured in the first match against his peers from Spain .

In November 2005, Ahmed made his debut for Morocco in a friendly match against Cameroon . In 2012, as part of a national team, he took part in the African Cup of Nations . At the tournament, Kantari played in matches against the national teams of Gabon [10] and Tunisia [11] .

In 2013, Ahmed took part in the Africa Cup for the second time. This time he took part in only one match against the South African national team [12] .
