History
The enterprise was established on May 6, 1963 as an independent special design bureau for the development and manufacture of polymer composite materials of various designs and parts for missiles , which was subsequently reorganized into the Central Scientific Research Institute of Special Engineering.
From 1968 to the present, the company has been playing the role of the leading organization in the industry for the development of constructions of plastics for defense equipment. All work related to weapons and military equipment is controlled by the 455 Military Mission of the Ministry of Defense of Russia .
The contribution of TsNIISM OJSC to the creation of defense and rocket technology products was marked by the orders of the October Revolution and the Red Banner of Labor .
