Taskarasu [1] ( Kazakh. Tasarasu ) is a village in the Uigur district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . The administrative center of the Taskarasu rural district. It is located about 24 km north of the village of Chunja , the administrative center of the district, at an altitude of 553 meters above sea level [2] . The KATO code is 196657100 [3] .

Population
In 1999, the village population was 3,114 people (1,510 men and 1,604 women) [4] . According to the 2009 census , 2820 people lived in the village (1399 men and 1421 women) [4] .
History
The resettlement village Mikhailovskoye (later Bogoslovskoe) was founded in 1909 [5] .
